National Pharmacy Student Vaccination Program

“Advanced vaccine education, to empower expert level knowledge”

What is the National Pharmacy Student Vaccination Program?

This is an educational initiative to complement current pharmacy school curriculums on the topic of immunizations. Current pharmacy school curriculums address therapeutics and administration techniques but lack the practice-based elements of specialized immunization practice. We want to find out what your “preparedness” level is for advanced immunization practice, then address key learning gaps with an educational webinar for your pharmacy school. After attending this event, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback to determine if the content was beneficial in increasing your “preparedness”. Data from this program will be leveraged to develop relevant education content and advocate for the role of pharmacists as immunizers to various stakeholders.

Why should I participate?

  1. Increase your competency and confidence with immunizations
  2. Learn from experts in advanced clinical pharmacy practice
  3. Create fulfillment in your future pharmacy practice
  4. Drive awareness and advocacy for the role of pharmacists as immunization leaders and experts
  5. Develop your skills and specialized knowledge as a practicing healthcare professional
