About Immunize.io Health Association and the Vaccine Centre of Excellence (VCE)
Established in 2018, Immunize.io is a Registered BC Non-profit organization dedicated to improving community and global immunization rates. Vaccinations are considered one of the greatest public health interventions saving countless lives from preventable disease daily. There continues to be a need to improve vaccination rates to protect the population by establishing “herd immunity”. New and improved vaccinations against devastating infectious diseases provide a continual evolution of preventative healthcare.
The Vaccine Centre of Excellence was established to identify and address barriers for frontline healthcare professionals in the recommendation and administration of vaccinations for their patients. We create and deliver robust educational programs across many mediums to inspire confidence and practice change. We create and disseminate adaptable workflow changes to existing healthcare access points to facilitate delivery of community vaccination programs, improve public awareness and confidence in vaccines and improve access to recommended vaccines based on individual age and medical risk factors.
